The Excellence in Construction Awards celebrates and showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and standards of excellence in the commercial sector of the building industry throughout Victoria.
On the night, 2Construct walked away winning two awards!
The Edithvale Life Saving Club Project took out one of ten titles in the Excellence in Construction of Commercial Buildings $3M - $5M category. A huge congratulations to the fantastic 2C project team including Conal Magee (Project Manager), Rick Parker (Site Manager), Robin Du-Gourdon (Contract Administrator) & Heath Evans (Construction Worker).
We had 2 additional projects selected as Finalists in the Excellence in Construction of Commercial Buildings $3M - $5M category - Maranatha Christian School and Peninsula Grammar School. A big congratulations and well done to these two project teams - Hamish McPherson (Project Manager), Darren Nagel (Site Manager) Samuel Steel (Contract Administrator) and Heath Evans (Construction Worker) & Thomas McPherson (Project Manager), Alan McDonald (Site Manager), Robin Du-Gourdon (Contract Administrator) and Peter Knegt (Construction Worker), respectively.
Conal Magee also walked away as the WINNER of the 2021 Young Builder of the Year – Commercial Award! Conal started at 2Construct back in 2013 as a Contract Administrator and worked his way to Project Manager. Over the years he has worked on projects valued up to $11M including Tarneit Senior College, Edithvale Life Saving Club, CRC Caroline Springs New Performing Arts Centre, Sandringham Golf Links Redevelopment and TLC Homestead Estate Wallington. An incredible achievement, congratulations Conal!
A special mention to Thomas McPherson (Project Manager) who was also a Finalist in the Young Builder of the Year – Commercial Award category. Well done and congratulations Tom!
