This National Reconciliation Week, the 2Construct team came together to reflect, learn, and strengthen our connection with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Our RAP Working Group kicked things off by representing us at the flag-raising ceremony at St Kilda Town Hall, hosted by the City of Port Phillip. It was a meaningful way to show our support for local community-led initiatives and acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land we work on.
Back at the office, we hosted a Learn and Listen morning tea catered by Jarrah Catering to help spread awareness, encourage involvement and educate staff members on the significance of cultural protocols, including Acknowledgement of Country and Welcome to Country as well as educate our team about the Bunurong land on which we build and work.
