Welcome to the New Year and a new look 2C News, our first newsletter of the year. After a great summer break the 2C team are ready for some major milestones this year including the celebration of our 15 year anniversary.

We're off to a great start with a few new projects recently awarded and some great opportunities on the horizon. It promises to be an interesting year with the economic outlook a bit stagnant and a Federal Election looming large.

New Projects

Our Lady of Mercy College - Stages 4 & 5

We are delighted to partner with OLMC, Ontoit Project Management and  Clarke Hopkins Clarke with the construction of a new learning facility in Heidelberg. The project involves the demolition of the existing Villa (Arts) Building, construction of a new three-storey DAT (Design Art Technology) facility and construction of a new two-storey Classroom and Cafe facility with interconnecting covered walkways. Works will continue in two stages with completion due in late 2020

St Peter's College - West Campus Stage 1 Arts Precinct

Stage 1 construction works for a new Arts Precinct at West Campus in Cranbourne kick off in the coming weeks. The scope involves demolition works and the addition of new and refurbished facilities comprising  Learning Areas, Staff Room, Specialist Areas, and associated works. The  Scope also includes the implementation of hard and soft landscaping with handover expected later in 2019

Walker and Morton Park Pavilions - City Of Whitehorse

Hot off the press....these pavilions are part of a much-awaited update in Whitehorse for the local sporting clubs. Located on two different sites, situated approximately 10 minutes apart. Morton Park Pavilion is a new build, whereas Walker Park Pavilion is an extension and refurbishment project. Both projects will commence soon! . . .  more details to follow.

Sunbury College stage 1 is complete, with two more stages to go!

Stage one of the redevelopment of Sunbury College is now complete. This stage of construction included 1,400m2 of new Year 7 & 8 Learning spaces, plus the Science building. The next stages focus on the redevelopment and refurbishment of the existing teaching, creative art and library spaces.

Project Update: Edithvale Surf Life Saving Club

The crew is working hard (and not lying around on the beach!) at the Edithvale Surf Life Saving Club with CFA piling through the sand underway.

Every summer more than 20,000 visitors flock to Edithvale Beach and the Life Saving Club is a vital part of the community. Works will ramp up now for completion of the new 'state of art' facility in late 2019.
