Duncan McPherson OAM

In 2004 Duncan became co-founder and Managing Director of 2Construct. With over 40 years of experience in both the building and civil construction industry.

Duncan’s strong focus on ensuring timely delivery and an emphasis on quality and the appropriate delivery methodology. Extensive liaison with clients, consultants and subcontractors are principal to oversee construction of an average of 20 projects at any one time, with an emphasis on driving projects to be completed on time and on budget.

Duncan is a member of the Australian Institute of Building and a registered commercial and domestic builder.

Peter Rahilly

In June 2004 Peter become co-founder and Director of 2Construct. A registered commercial builder with over 30 years’ experience in the building and civil construction industry.

Peter's sharp focus is on new business, innovation, technology and the leadership development of staff.

Paul McDonald

Paul has over 40 years’ experience in the engineering design, construction, property development, and funds management sectors, gained throughout Australia & overseas.

In his early years, he worked as an engineering designer and project manager in major engineering infrastructure projects, working mostly with the NSW Department of Public Works, Leighton Holdings, and the Australian Antarctic Division.

He then joined Lend Lease & was involved as a Project Director/Senior Executive in major mixed-use developments in Australia and overseas.

In more recent times, Paul was the founding Chief Executive Officer for MAB Corporation (Melbourne’s leading privately-owned property development/ funds management company) and Managing Director of Chord Capital (a private equity investment company).

Paul remains actively involved in the construction, engineering, property development, and investment sectors and sits on a number of boards. He is highly experienced in all aspects of Corporate Governance.

John Pope

John Pope

John has over 6 years of experience in the role of Chief Financial Officer with many years experience in the construction industry. John is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial, company secretarial, statutory, and administrative functions of the company.

John's skills in strategic financial planning and knowledge of the construction industry are paramount in shaping the future direction of the company.

Daniel Peluso

With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry and a background in Quantity Surveying and Project Management, Daniel heads up the Estimating Department and is responsible for the overall management of the Estimating team, overseeing and managing the preparation of tenders, procurement, and administration of projects of up to $30m.

Tony Venier

Tony Venier joined 2Construct as a Construction Manager leading the Industrial / Retail sectors. His sound experience has facilitated him to deliver over 1 million square metres of total built form area for Frasers Property covering the states of Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

With over 11 years of experience, Aaron works with Tony Venier in the design implementation of some exciting projects in the growing industrial sector.

Aaron has delivered projects for key industrial clients such as Qube, Frasers Industrial, Perri Projects, Aliro Group and many more and will be providing clients with his industrial expertise when managing their projects.

With over 14 years of experience, Hamish manages the project teams across 2Construct’s traditional sectors of education, sport & recreation and community.

Hamish has delivered many successful projects for government clients, private and public education clients and provides first-class quality control, cost control, programming and consultant liaison throughout his time on a project.

Thomas Mcpherson

Thomas McPherson

With over 10 years of experience as a project manager, Tom focusses on the larger and more complex projects in 2Construct’s portfolio. Tom provides solutions to complex projects on a daily basis and specialises in all larger scale projects.

Tom has delivered projects between $1m - $40m for government clients, commercial clients, private and public education clients.

Chris Barker

With over 16 years of experience, Chris manages all project teams who specialise in the civil/civic and infrastructure projects in 2Construct’s portfolio.

Chris has delivered projects between $600k - $30m and has extensive experience across streetscape projects, large scale sport & recreation projects, civic developments and large scale landscape projects.

With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Todd brings a wealth of knowledge to 2Construct.

Todd drives the completion of current projects and overseeing  operations and management of the new projects in our portfolio.

Luke Carlson

Luke Carlson

Luke has over 14 years of experience in the construction industry and has come from a background of Quality, Safety and Environmental training.

Luke is responsible for maintaining the company conformance accreditations AS4801 OHSMS, Quality and Environmental standards that align to ISO9001 AND ISO14001, management and performance of health and safety across all sectors of the business and contractor’s compliance to safety policies.

Rosie Concepcion

Rosie has over 9 years of experience in accounting and has been with the company since 2019. Rosie assists in management of the financial, company secretarial and administrative activities of 2Construct on a day-to-day basis.

Rosie provides input into the strategic planning of the company from a financial perspective and ensures the accounts and administration team is up-to-date and sufficiently resourced.

Brad Rae

Brad Rae

Brad manages the pipeline of projects alongside Daniel Peluso and provides bid management strategies to the Executive team. Brad also drives new business and client engagement on a daily basis.

With a background in graphic design, Brad brings a level of expertise to 2Construct's marketing and digital media presence. Brad's attention to detail ensures that 2Construct's marketing collateral and tender submissions generate a strong connection with our audience.
