2Construct has been appointed Head Contractor for three new Early Learning and Childcare Centres in Newborough East, Meeniyan and Nicholson for the Victorian School Building Authority as part of the ELCC Bundle 1 2027. These centres are among 50 early learning centres that will share in approximately $14 billion as part of the Victorian Government’s Best Start, Best Life reform.
Newborough East
The centre will provide long day care, Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs with space for up to 130 local children in the centre each day. The centre will have outdoor play areas, a carpark and a consulting room for child and family services, such as maternal and child health and allied health. It will also have a multi-purpose room for community meetings and playgroups.
Meeniyan
The centre will provide long day care, Three-Year-Old Kindergarten and Pre-Prep programs, with space for up to 57 local children in the centre each day. The centre will have outdoor play areas, a carpark and a consulting room for child and family services, such as maternal and child health and allied health. It will also have a multi-purpose room for community meetings and playgroups.
Nicholson
The centre will provide long day care, Three-Year-Old Kindergarten and Pre-Prep programs, with space for up to 102 local children in the centre each day. The centre will have outdoor play areas, a carpark and a consulting room for child and family services, such as maternal and child health and allied health. It will also have a multi-purpose room for community meetings and playgroups.
