Kolbe Catholic College Industrial Arts Centre

The industrial arts building is a single storey building that accommodates the college's Metalwork, Woodwork, Machine Room and Design Lab learning space. The building's footprint is approximately 630m2 and comprises a reinforced concrete sub structure with a timber and steel superstructure. The building envelope (external walls and roof) is predominantly metal cladding with areas of cement sheeting to provide an contrasting textural facade. Services have been designed to cater for an extensive list of machinery and the internal finishes are designed to incorporate to compliance with the functional use of the building. The building is connected to the balance of the campus by large hardstand / paving areas.
