Tradies National Health Month 2023

The statistics from Safe Work Australia indicate that tradies represent 31% of the Australian workforce, yet they account for a staggering 58% of serious claims for worker's compensation. This highlights the importance of promoting health and safety practices within the trade industry.

Beyond the physical aspect, mental health is equally essential. Depression affects around one million Australians each year, while over two million experience anxiety. We are thrilled to announce that we've raised a total of $1000.00 which has been donated to R U Ok Day – sparking conversations that can change a life.

2Construct brought together our site teams, clients and subcontractors at Mentone Grammar, The New Soccer Facilities in Bulleen, Bridge Mall Redevelopment and Guide Dogs Kew Campus to support Tradies National Health Month and raise awareness of the well-being of those in trade occupations. We came together for 4 informative BBQ events with all proceeds from the BBQs generously donated to the R U Ok Day cause. Together, we can make a positive impact on the health and safety of our valued tradies.
