Early Learning Centre & Childcare Nicholson

The scope of works includes construction of the Nicholson Early Learning and Childcare Centre (ELCC), including the ELCC building and associated external play spaces, a new 17‑space ELCC car park, make‑good works to the primary school car park. The scope also includes the demolition of the existing basketball court and the full design and construction of a new realigned basketball court, including the relocation of the shed and drinking trough.

The centre will provide long day care, Three-Year-Old Kindergarten and Pre-Prep programs, with space for up to 102 local children in the centre each day. The centre will have outdoor play areas, a carpark and a consulting room for child and family services, such as maternal and child health and allied health. It will also have a multi-purpose room for community meetings and playgroups.
