St Kevin’s College – Tooronga Sports Training Facility

The project involved the redevelopment of the existing site on the corner of Tooronga Road and Toorak Road, for St Kevin’s College to provide new sporting facilities accommodating a range of different sporting activities. The project comprised a single storey 580m2 eastern pavilion, a double storey 862m2 western pavilion, 1 x IHF regulation hockey pitch which doubles as 12 x tennis courts, 3 x FFV soccer pitches which will double as an AFL ground, 200m athletics track including long jump, high jump and shotput facilities, and 12 bay cricket practice nets, plus a 400m2 storage shed. Works involved approx. 15,000m3 of cut to fill with approx. 25,000m3 of imported fill, 1500m2 of steel soldier and precast concrete retaining walls, internal access roads and car parking.
