Aboriginal Gathering Place

The Aboriginal Gathering Place is a welcoming, inclusive and culturally safe space where Aboriginal people can enjoy a sense of belonging, with access to programs and services that strengthen culture and enhance wellbeing.

The scope of work comprises construction of the Welcoming Building which includes 2 consulting rooms, administration office, meeting room and amenities. The scope also comprises the construction of the Gathering Building which includes a multipurpose room, healing room, kitchen and amenities. The works also include surrounding paving and decking.

Delivered as a separate package, the Quarry Hills Civil and Associated works project enhances the Mernda and Wollers growth area with significant carparking and roads leading to the Granite Hills Major Community Park and Aboriginal Gathering Place.
