The project involved the construction of a new two-storey independent living unit facility in Northcote. Works comprised the construction of a bored pier and blockwork retaining wall system to allow for the excavation of the existing embankment to provide a 3000m2 building bench to accommodate the new facility. The new building, approximately 2600m2 over two levels was built in a horseshoe configuration to connect to the existing facility.
