Gallery of the Saints Mausoleum Stage 4

2Construct_Keilor_Mausoleum_1855

The purposeful, contemporary Stage 4 extension incorporates the delivery of 774 mausoleum crypts, storage space, site excavation and levelling, upgrade of services and irrigation infrastructure, reconfiguration of landscaping including new car parks, access driveways and street furniture. The covered, unenclosed building with bluestone cladding evokes the sense of remembrance through its monumental tactility. The mausoleum is connected with nature, with the landscape design playing a symbolic and significant part of the memorial’s ambience harmonising elegantly with the existing building and its surrounding context.
