The Valley Lake Lookout and viewing platform is a key feature of the estate, providing panoramic views across the basalt clifftop of the former Niddrie Quarry, well as the Melbourne cityscape.
The project involved the construction of a rooftop garden and northern courtyard at the Carey Baptist Grammar School in Kew.
The Village Street Enhancement Works involved the conversion of a 2-way street into a shared zone and included hard and soft landscaping, street furniture and public lighting.
The project scope included civil works including earthworks, access road and car park asphalt, pavement and kerbs, line marking, concrete slabs, footings and footpaths. Hard landscaping including preparation of garden bed and lawn areas, synthetic turf, soft-fall areas and various external furniture including seating and play equipment. Soft landscaping including topsoil, mulch, irrigation and planting.
2Construct collaborated with the City of Glen Eira to redevelop the formal water authority reservoir in Glen Huntly to provide a much-needed community space.
